Ingredients:

whole wheat rolls or a homemade loaf of bread, cut down the middle,
lengthwise

soft butter

shredded Swiss cheese (preferably emmenthaler)

avocado

purple onions, grilled

roasted garlic

sliced tomatoes

red leaf lettuce

sliced cucumbers

sweet honey mustard

Burgundy Poppy Seed Dressing

salt and pepper
Brush the sides of the bread with soft butter and sprinkle with the
shredded cheese. Bake for about 5 min. in preheated 350 degree oven.
When toasted and cheese has melted, layer the remaining ingredients over
all, brushing with the mustard and drizzling with the dressing, and
sprinkle with salt and pepper.
