Ingredients:
Green Salad with Herb Dressing
washed and spun dry fresh salad greens
4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
4 tablespoons raspberry vinegar or other fruity light vinegar
pinch of sugar
pinch of sea salt
several grindings of fresh pepper
1-2 teaspoons snipped fresh herbs, such as basil, thyme, savory, etc.
Don't forget about edible flowers.
Tear greens into salad bowl. Chill. In measuring cup, whisk together the
remaining ingredients, and pour over the salad. Toss well. Sprinkle with
grated cheese, if desired.
