Ingredients:
Veggie Burger

1/2 onion, minced
3/4 cup chopped parsley
1 small can drained beets, chopped
1-1/2 cup oatmeal
1 med. turnip, minced
2 stalks celery
1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
3 eggs
pepper
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco Sauce (Texas Champagne is nice!)
1/2 to 3/4 cup catsup
Mince all veggies in a chopper or food processor. Add garlic and fresh
herbs if desired. Combine all ingredients. Form into patties (mixture
will be soft). Place in oiled skillet and cook with medium heat until
patties are fairly firm. Serve as patties on a plate, or serve in
hamburger buns. This mixture can also be stir-fried so that it is
crumbly and then served over rice or noodles along with a nice sauce.
